Thalassemia's Spectrum and Management: A Talk for Primary Care Pediatricians

Pediatric hematologist-oncologist Ashutosh Lal, MD, describes thalassemia syndromes; discusses presentation and underlying genetics; and provides data on ethnic risk factors, with implications for care of immigrant populations.
